Siuslaw Vikings Football 21-20 Douglas

It doesn't get much more dramatic than this. The Siuslaw Vikings escaped Douglas with a heart-pounding 21-20 victory Friday night, gutting out a one-point win that had everyone on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. This is the kind of game that fans will be talking about for a long time.

The Vikings showed serious resilience, finding a way to win when it mattered most against a Douglas squad that clearly came ready to play. Siuslaw had chances to pull away but had to hold on down the stretch, and to their credit, they did exactly that. A one-point margin doesn't leave much room for error, and the Vikings made just enough plays to come out on top.

With the win, Siuslaw improves to a strong five and one on the season, keeping their playoff positioning in great shape heading into the back half of the year. The Vikings came in at four and one and leave with a statement result. Wins like this one, ugly as they might feel in the moment, are often the ones that define a season.
