South Coast Sports Hub SMS Alerts

South Coast Sports Hub is a local sports media platform serving the South Coast community. Our SMS alert program sends opted-in subscribers real-time game scores, schedule changes, game day reminders, end-of-night scoreboards, and youth registration deadline alerts for the teams and sports they have chosen to follow.

The consent form on our Text Alerts page is the only way to subscribe to South Coast Sports Hub SMS Alerts. The same form, with the same consent checkbox, also appears on our signup page. To sign up:

1. Go to southcoastsportshub.com/text-alerts.
2. Enter your mobile phone number.
3. Check the box or boxes for the messages you want. There are two separate choices: game alerts (scores, schedule changes, game day reminders, end-of-night scoreboards) and registration deadlines and program news. Both are unchecked by default and never pre-selected for you.
4. Submit the form.

The two are independent. You can receive game alerts without agreeing to registration and program news, and you can change either choice at any time.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. The form submits successfully if you leave the text alert box unchecked.

If you previously subscribed through this form and then texted STOP, you can text START, SUBSCRIBE, JOIN, or YES to resume messages. These keywords only re-enable messages for numbers that already opted in through the form above. They are not a standalone way to subscribe.

Game alerts: message frequency varies by season and by the teams you follow. Typical subscribers receive 2–10 messages per week during active sports seasons, with higher volume on game days. Coaches participating in the score reporting network typically receive 1–3 messages per game day during active seasons.

Registration deadlines and program news: approximately 1–4 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. South Coast Sports Hub does not charge for SMS messages, but standard carrier rates from your wireless provider apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all South Coast Sports Hub SMS communications. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.

South Coast Sports HubSMS Alerts are supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, and most regional carriers.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. South Coast Sports Hub is not responsible for delays, failures in delivery, or errors in messages caused by carriers or third-party service providers.

Your privacy matters to us. Phone numbers collected for SMS communications are used solely to deliver the alerts you have opted in to. No mobile information, including your phone number, SMS opt-in, and messaging consent, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in and consent are never shared with any third party except our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), and only as needed to deliver the messages you requested. We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
