Siuslaw Vikings Football 62-6 Coquille

Siuslaw's football team made a statement on the road Friday night, dismantling Coquille 62-6 in a 3A-SD4 Special District 4 league contest. The Vikings from Florence, Oregon traveled to Coquille and left little doubt, building what became a dominant margin by the final whistle. The lopsided victory moves Siuslaw to 7-2 overall and 1-1 in league play heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The 56-point winning margin speaks to a Vikings squad that has been building momentum through the fall, now owning seven wins after navigating a challenging schedule that includes two losses. Coquille had little answer for Siuslaw across all four quarters, as the Vikings controlled both sides of the ball throughout the evening. With the postseason picture coming into focus across the 3A landscape, Siuslaw will look to close out the regular season strong and position themselves favorably for a playoff run in the weeks ahead.
