Siuslaw Vikings Football 31-28 Brookings-Harbor

Siuslaw's football team came away with a hard-fought 31-28 victory Friday night, traveling south to hand Brookings-Harbor a narrow defeat in a non-league matchup. The Vikings, out of Florence, Oregon, and competing in the 3A Special District 4, needed every point to hold off the Bruins in what turned out to be a tight, back-and-forth contest on the road.

The three-point margin tells the story of a game that was never comfortable. Siuslaw had to grind through a determined Brookings-Harbor squad, and the final score reflects just how competitive the evening was from start to finish.

With the win, the Vikings improve to 6-2 on the season. The road victory adds valuable momentum heading into the stretch run of the fall schedule, and it demonstrates the kind of resilience that can carry a team deep into the postseason conversation.

Siuslaw will look to build on this result when action resumes next week.
