Myrtle Point Bobcats Softball 1-17 Burns / Crane

Burns/Crane's powerful offense proved too much for Myrtle Point in Friday's league softball matchup, rolling to a 17-1 victory at Myrtle Point. The visiting squad jumped on the Bobcats early and never let up, building a commanding lead that put the game out of reach by the middle innings.
Despite the lopsided score, Myrtle Point managed to push across one run against a tough Burns/Crane pitching staff. The Bobcats showed flashes of potential at the plate but couldn't string together the consistent offensive production needed to keep pace with their opponents' explosive attack.
The loss drops Myrtle Point to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in conference play as they continue working through a challenging spring season. Head coach and players remain focused on fundamental improvements and building chemistry as a young squad.
The Bobcats will look to regroup and find their first win of the season in their next league outing. With several games remaining on the schedule, there are still opportunities ahead to show growth and compete in conference play.
