Coquille Red Devils Football 6-62 Siuslaw / Mapleton

Siuslaw/Mapleton claimed a dominant 62-6 victory over Coquille in 3A-SD4 Special District 4 football Friday night in Coquille, Oregon, handing the Red Devils a tough result to open conference play. The visiting Vikings controlled the game from the outset, building an insurmountable lead that reflected the wide margin on the scoreboard. Coquille managed to find the end zone once, showing some fight despite the difficult circumstances, but could not slow a Siuslaw/Mapleton offense that consistently moved the ball. The loss drops the Red Devils to 0-7 overall and 0-1 in league play as they navigate a challenging 2026 fall campaign. Moments of effort from the Coquille sideline gave the home crowd something to cheer about, even in a lopsided contest. The Red Devils will look to carry that competitive spirit into their next opportunity, hoping to build on small gains and find their footing as the league schedule continues.
