Coquille Red Devils Girls Soccer 1-4 Siuslaw

Siuslaw pulled away from Coquille on Tuesday, defeating the Red Devils 4-1 in a Sunset Conference (2A) girls soccer match played in Coquille, Oregon. The Vikings controlled much of the contest, building a comfortable advantage that Coquille was unable to overcome at home. The lone Red Devil goal offered a brief moment of encouragement, but Siuslaw's four-score output proved too much to answer. With the loss, Coquille falls to 4-10 overall and 2-4 in conference play, sitting at a challenging point in the season as the league schedule continues to narrow the margin for error. The Red Devils have shown resilience in a difficult campaign, and each remaining league match represents an opportunity to build confidence heading toward the postseason picture. Coquille will look to regroup and find its footing in the next outing, with players and coaches focused on tightening up defensively and generating more consistent chances on the attacking end.
