Coquille picked up a convincing road victory Thursday evening, defeating Glide 3-1 in Sunset Conference (2A) girls soccer action to improve the Red Devils' season record to 5-12 overall and 3-6 in league play. The win came away from Coquille, Oregon, giving the program a needed confidence boost as the regular season winds down. Facing a Glide squad on its home pitch, Coquille controlled enough of the match to build a three-goal cushion before the Wildcats found the back of the net for a consolation score in the final 3-1 tally.
