Siuslaw Vikings Boys Soccer 0-8 Douglas

Douglas handed Siuslaw an 8-0 defeat Tuesday in a Far West League (4A) boys soccer match played on the road, pushing the Florence, Oregon program to 1-12 overall and 1-8 in conference play. The lopsided result was a difficult night for Siuslaw, which was unable to generate any offense while the host side controlled the match from the opening minutes. Without detailed scoring information available, it is clear Douglas was relentless in attack, building a substantial margin that was never in doubt. For Siuslaw, the challenge now is to find moments of progress in the back stretch of a tough season, using remaining league matches as opportunities to develop and compete. The team will look to regroup and respond the next time they take the pitch, carrying whatever lessons Tuesday provided into future preparation. Siuslaw's next match will offer another chance to build on the lone win the program has secured this fall.
