Reedsport Braves Girls Volleyball 1-3 Elkton

Elkton handed Reedsport a 3-1 defeat in girls volleyball on Thursday night, dropping the Reedsport, Oregon squad to 3-4 on the season. The Sunset Conference (2A) Bucks traveled to Elkton for the non-league matchup and managed to claim one set before falling in four. The result snaps what had been a competitive stretch for a Reedsport squad that entered the night sitting at .500 with a 3-3 record. Road matches against non-conference opponents can be difficult measuring sticks early in the fall, and Thursday's trip to Elkton proved to be a challenging one. Credit goes to the Bucks for battling through at least one set win rather than being swept, showing some resilience away from home. With conference play tightening as the season progresses, Reedsport will look to bounce back and get back to the .500 mark. The Bucks return to action next week with an opportunity to regroup and build momentum heading deeper into the 2026 fall schedule.
