Marshfield Pirates Softball 4-15 North Bend / Reedsport

The Pirates couldn't find their rhythm Tuesday afternoon, falling 15-4 to North Bend/Reedsport in league softball action at home. Marshfield struggled to contain the visitors' offense while managing just four runs of their own in the lopsided defeat.
The loss drops the Pirates to 3-14 overall and 1-3 in conference play as they continue working through a challenging spring campaign. Despite the difficult result, Marshfield showed glimpses of potential throughout the contest but couldn't string together enough consistent at-bats to mount a serious comeback.
The Pirates have been battling adversity all season, using each game as a learning opportunity to build toward stronger performances. With several games remaining on the schedule, there's still time for growth and development.
Marshfield will look to regroup and refocus as they prepare for their next league matchup. The Pirates remain committed to improving their execution on both sides of the ball while building momentum for the remainder of the season.
