Marshfield Pirates Boys Soccer 2-0 North Bend / Bandon

Marshfield's boys soccer team kept its unbeaten run intact Tuesday, defeating North Bend/Bandon 2-0 on the road to extend one of the most impressive records in the 4A-4 Sky-Em League this fall. The Pirates, based in Coos Bay, Oregon, improved to 14-0-2 overall and a perfect 11-0 in league play with the shutout victory. Traveling to face a familiar district rival, Marshfield controlled the match from start to finish, finding the net twice while keeping a clean sheet on the defensive end. The two-goal margin was comfortable enough to signal the Pirates remain in firm command of their league standing. With the regular season winding down, Marshfield's combination of offensive production and defensive discipline continues to make them the team to beat in the 4A-4 Sky-Em League. The Pirates will look to carry that momentum forward as postseason positioning comes into sharper focus in the days ahead.
