Gold Beach's softball squad delivered their most dominant performance of the young season Sunday, crushing visiting North Salem 12-2 in non-league action at home. The Panthers exploded for double-digit runs against the Vikings in a game that showcased both offensive firepower and defensive control.

The lopsided victory moves Gold Beach to 3-1 on the season, building momentum as they continue to find their rhythm in league play. After splitting their opening series, the Panthers have now won back-to-back games with increasingly convincing margins.

Sunday's offensive outburst was a welcome sight for Gold Beach coaches, who have been working with players on aggressive base running and situational hitting throughout early season practices. The 10-run margin of victory also demonstrated improved pitching and defense, limiting North Salem to just two runs.

The Panthers will look to carry this offensive momentum into their next contest as they aim to establish themselves as a consistent threat in what promises to be a competitive spring season along the coast.
