Siuslaw Vikings Boys Volleyball 0-2 Century

Century proved too strong for Siuslaw in the Vikings' boys volleyball season opener Sunday, taking a straight-set victory at home. The Jaguars controlled the match from start to finish, claiming the non-league contest 2-0.
The Vikings entered their inaugural match of the spring campaign looking to establish early momentum, but Century's experience and execution made the difference throughout both sets. Siuslaw showed flashes of potential but couldn't sustain the consistency needed to challenge the visiting Jaguars.
Despite the setback, the season opener provided valuable experience for a Siuslaw squad that will use this match as a foundation for improvement. The Vikings now stand 0-1 as they continue building chemistry and refining their system.
With the spring season just beginning, Siuslaw has ample opportunity to develop the cohesion and confidence that comes with match experience. The Vikings will look to bounce back and apply the lessons learned from Sunday's contest as they continue their 2026 campaign in the coming weeks.
