Bandon Tigers Softball 3-14 Barlow

Barlow's offense came alive in a big way Monday afternoon, overwhelming Bandon 14-3 in the Tigers' conference softball opener at home. The visiting Bruins put together multiple big innings to pull away from what started as a competitive game.
Bandon managed three runs against Barlow's pitching staff but couldn't generate enough offense to keep pace with the visitors' explosive attack. The Tigers struggled to contain Barlow's hitters throughout the contest, allowing 14 runs in what became a difficult league debut.
The loss drops Bandon to 4-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play as they begin the crucial league portion of their schedule. Despite the lopsided final score, the Tigers showed some offensive life with their three runs and will look to build on those positives.
Bandon will need to regroup quickly as conference play continues. The Tigers have shown they can compete this season with their balanced pre-league record, and they'll look to bounce back in their next league matchup as they work to establish themselves in conference standings.
