Pacific boys soccer picked up a convincing 4-2 home win over Umpqua Valley Christian on Tuesday evening in Port Orford, Oregon, keeping the Pirates rolling in 1A league competition. The victory lifts Pacific to 6-1 overall and a perfect 3-0 in conference play, cementing their place among the top contenders in the league standings this fall. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Pirates controlled enough of the match to build a two-goal cushion, holding off Umpqua Valley Christian despite the visitors pushing back to make it competitive. The four-goal output reflects an offense that has been consistently productive throughout this strong early stretch of the season. With league play heating up and the postseason window beginning to come into focus, Pacific will look to maintain that momentum and protect home-field confidence. The Pirates return to action later this week, with another chance to extend what has become one of the more promising starts in recent memory for this program.
