North Bend Bulldogs Girls Soccer 2-1 Cottage Grove

A second goal made the difference Thursday as North Bend girls soccer held off Cottage Grove 2-1 in a Sky-Em League (4A) home match in North Bend, Oregon. The Bulldogs improved to 9-1-2 overall and 7-1 in league play with the hard-fought result, keeping themselves firmly in the hunt for a conference title. Cottage Grove made things interesting by cutting the deficit to one, but North Bend's defense held firm in the closing stretch to preserve the win. The victory builds on an already strong season for a squad that entered Thursday with just one loss in eleven outings. With the regular season winding toward its final stretch, every league point carries added weight as postseason positioning comes into focus. North Bend will look to build on this momentum and push toward the top of the Sky-Em standings in the games ahead.
