Myrtle Point Bobcats Softball 1-16 Irrigon

The road proved challenging for Myrtle Point on Monday as the Bobcats dropped a 16-1 decision to Irrigon in non-league softball action. The Myrtle Point, Oregon squad, which competes in the Sunset Conference (2A), managed just one run against the host Knights in the lopsided affair.
Irrigon jumped out early and never looked back, building a commanding lead that put the game out of reach. The Bobcats were able to push across a single run but couldn't generate enough offense to mount any sustained rallies against Irrigon's pitching.
The loss moves Myrtle Point to 0-17 overall this season, with an 0-8 mark in conference play. Despite the difficult result, the Bobcats continue to gain valuable experience as they work to develop their young roster.
Myrtle Point will look to regroup and refocus as they prepare for their next outing. The Bobcats have several games remaining on their spring schedule as they aim to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the 2026 season.
