Gold Beach Panthers Football 0-35 Glide

Glide handed Gold Beach a 35-0 defeat in a non-league football game played Friday night in Glide, dropping the Gold Beach, Oregon, squad to 1-4 on the season. Gold Beach competes in the Sunset Conference (2A) and made the road trip north looking to build on its lone win, but Glide controlled the contest from start to finish, shutting out the visitors and pulling away for a convincing margin. Without a detailed box score available, the final score tells the story clearly. A 35-point shutout on the road is a difficult result to absorb, and the Gold Beach sideline will have plenty to evaluate heading into the week ahead. The silver lining is that time remains in the fall schedule to regroup and find some momentum. Gold Beach will look to bounce back when they return to action next week, with Sunset Conference play still offering plenty of opportunity to make a statement.
