Brookings-Harbor Bruins Football 62-44 Douglas

Sixty-two points on the road was enough for Brookings-Harbor to walk away with a football victory Friday night, topping Douglas 62-44 in a 3A-SD4 Special District 4 league contest that had plenty of fireworks from start to finish. The Bruins, based in Brookings, Oregon, made the trip to Douglas and delivered one of their most explosive offensive performances of the fall season. The win moves Brookings-Harbor to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in league play, a meaningful bounce-back result for a team that entered the night sitting at 4-4. Neither defense could slow things down in a game that produced over 100 combined points, but the Bruins ultimately had enough firepower to pull clear. The victory gives Brookings-Harbor some momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. With the postseason picture still taking shape across the 3A-SD4, the Bruins will look to build on this performance and finish the year strong.
